ÉCHANGEUR TURCOT EPISODE XXV - THE RETURN TO EXPO 67
The sage of replacing Montreal’s dangerous and crumbling massive Turcot interchange continues. In today’s Métro newspaper, a journalist says that Quebec should go back to the drawing board (at the 13th hour) and come up with an “ambitious” design. Very good! Montreal has not had anything truly ambitious in terms of infastructure since the Mirabel Aiport debacle. Perhaps that would explain why the design shown in the article looks like it came out of a 1960s edition of Popular Science - so deliciously retro-futuristic?
